Daniel Rosen, an experienced psychotherapist, treats a variety of mental health problems. Neurofeedback may be an appropriate treatment for you or your child. During an initial consultation, we will discuss potential treatments and develop a treatment plan. In addition to neurofeedback, treatments may include individual, family, or couples psychotherapy; parent guidance for children; and recommendations regarding sleep, diet and exercise.
- Who is Mr. Rosen: A graduate of New York University’s School of Social Work, I have been psychotherapist in Rochester for over 15 years. Licensed in 1991, I have trained extensively in a variety of counseling methods: Marriage Counseling, Sex Therapy, EMDR, CBT, Family Therapy, biofeedback, and neurofeedback.
Insurance does not pay for Brain Mapping or Neurofeedback treatments. Most insurance provides coverage for the initial consultation. Insurances accepted include Excellus, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Choice, Aetna, Cigna and MVP (Value Options for mental health) for psychotherapy and initial consultations.
Cash, credit card, check are accepted methods of payment. Accounts must be settled within one month of the date of service.
A Brain Mapping session (also called a qualitative EEG) is $400. This service includes a full analysis of how neurofeedback can help you or your child. Ongoing neurofeedback services are $120 per session. Typical courses of treatment are at least 5 sessions, with some treatments lasting 30 or more sessions. Progress will be assessed regularly to determine the duration of treatment.
The Neurofeedback Center of Rochester is located in the Crossbridge Office Park. 2000 Winton Road South, Building 4, Suite 305 which is located 100 feet from Winton Road on French Road near Exit #1 of 590 in Brighton.
